Ok. I don't ever get a chance to get on here anymore, but since I have 5 minutes of time in my day today, you guys REALLY need an update of my life..... Things are for once in my life looking up!!!

Ok. In the last 3 months, I have secured a position as a Freelance Photojournalist with Blacktie-St. Louis, photographing and writing about high end events featuring high end patrons (politicians, lawyers, doctors, judges, and even celebrities!!!). This month alone I had a photo shoot with the Commodores (a famous band from the 70's and 80's eras), and the team members of the St. Louis Rams football team.

My photography business and sales have BOOMED over the last 2 months, so much that I'm actually TURNING CLIENTS DOWN because I don't have the time available.

And most recent, I have as of today officially been hired on as the digital photography instructor (yes INSTRUCTOR!!!) for the STL Public School District's Community Center (at least one of the 13 community centers that is). ME....an INSTRUCTOR.......... Just one more thing to add to my already huge resume.

How awesome is that?!?!?!?

OH YEAH, I almost forgot.....I'm a MOMMY!!! kinda......lol My Pei Pei, Tierany, just gave birth to a litter of 5 beautiful puppies (3 boys, 2 girls) on the 25th of June.....They are soooo adorable!!!
Wait.....Does that make me a mommy or a grandmommy? lol Anyways, now that I'm done updating everyone, I'm going to go get me some celebratory food/drink, and do my little happy dance!!!

The gods have finally smiled on me (or maybe they just feel bad for putting the other 27 years of my life through hell???) and it's about damned time!!!

I always thought you had to have a subscription to have a journal. lol And all this time I was wrong. So here's the first update in my journal in over a year. Yippee!!!!! Ok, well since I know this now, how about a feature to celebrate!!!!! And what better topic to start with than Love, considering V-day is right around the corner?!? Ok. More to be posted later!!!!!

Ok. This is embarrassing but here it goes anyhow. I need help. I have been in and out of surgery and the E.R. since Thanksgiving. I have now had 2 surgeries in less than a month, and have worked a total of 2 weeks in 3 months because of medical issues. I am 3 days short of being 2 months behind on my rent, my insurance has lapsed, I can't pay my car loan and they're threatening to tow, I have hit completely rock bottom. I need help, and I'm asking anyone and everyone I know, and even those I don't know well. If you live in Illinois I would be more than willing to do photo sessions for dirt cheap. If you don't live in Illinois and you would like to help me out, I would be more than greatful! Anyhow, I'm desperate and figured this would be worth a shot.
